FRESNO BEE: New on TV

New on TV

The Mi Casa Network, an English language television network targeted at the Generation X and Millennial Latino-American audience, has replaced MyCombat Channel on KBID (Channel 31.2).

Mark Shirin, president of Ventura Broadcasting Company, which owns KBID, says the Mi Casa Network “fills a niche in the marketplace for second-, third- and fourth-generation Latino-Americans who want to remain connected to their heritage and culture, yet do not speak the Spanish language.”

VBC broadcasts 18 over-the-air channels that provide programming ranging from international news to reruns of classic TV shows. As part of the recent changes, Euronews has moved to KBID (Channel 31.1).
